A few days after canceling my Stitch Fix subscription, I stumbled upon this for something called Date in a Crate. The deal was for a three month subscription to the box for only $25 and I simply couldn’t resist spending the money I had been devoting to Stitch Fix on something that would be beneficial to both of us. So I took the plunge.
For those of you who were like me and have absolutely no idea what Date in a Crate is, well… it’s exactly what it sounds like. Each month, the company sends you a perfectly packaged box of themed goodies. These themes are, from what I can tell, picked from classic date night ideas. For November, the theme was “Movie Night.” The box includes everything you need to have the perfect date night in, including games dedicated to building and strengthening your relationship. Cute, right?
So, when the box came in the mail, I was so excited to have our “date night.” It worked out perfectly because we both had Veteran’s Day off which made Tuesday evening perfect for Movie Night! We tend to have a lot of movie nights, because, let’s be honest, it’s cheap and who doesn’t love cuddling on the couch for the evening? However, Date in a Crate added the perfect twist to our traditional movie night. Here’s what happened:
