How many of you are doing a reading challenge this year? I challenged myself to read 12 books, one per month, this year and I’ll be honest… I’m already a book behind. To inspire myself (and hopefully you) to read more, I’ve put together a spring reading list for 2016!
Some of these books are old, some of them are new. If you look at the titles (and read the synopsis’s) you’ll notice the genres are kind of all over the place. I usually prefer Young Adult dystopias (don’t judge) so I’m please with myself for branching out of that reading comfort zone with this spring reading list. If you want to read more about my love for YA dystopias, you can check out my reviews of Partials and The 100!
I actually just finished Panic, so I’m really excited to share a review of that one with you guys sometime soon. Lauren Oliver is one of my favorite authors! And yes, I’ve never read Looking for Alaska, that’s next on my list. Fall of Poppies is a collection of short stories about World War I so I’m sure it will be a tear jerker. JP read Feed and get this– It’s a zombie book that has to do with bloggers! I’m obviously excited to get my hands on that. If you liked The Girl on the Train, you’ll probably want to pick up I Let You Go and Nowhere Girl. Eligible is, according to it’s tagline, a modern day Pride & Prejudice, so that should be interesting (side note, have you seen Pride & Prejudice & Zombies yet?). The Taliban Shuffle is the book that the movie Whiskey Tango Foxtrot was based off of and Chasing Spring sounds adorable. I need to pick up the rest of these goodies before my no spend month starts in April!
What books are on your spring reading list this year? Have you read any of these books? Tell me what you think below!
