St. Patrick’s Day is still about a week away but the warmer weather made me feel like celebrating early. I’ve never been a fan of green and St. Patrick’s day is about the only time you’ll see me wear it, mostly so I don’t get pinched. This cropped cardigan is perfect for covering up on a warm spring day and adds just enough green to this St. Patrick’s day outfit without being over-the-top. I love being able to have a work appropriate outfit that’s still festive.
A perfect white tee is a wardrobe staple if you ask me. There isn’t anything you can’t wear with a white shirt so it makes the perfect base for any outfit. I love pairing a classic t-shirt with skirts for a feminine look or under a blazer for a chic work to date night outfit. Finding the perfect white tee is always a struggle and right now I’m loving this scoop neck one. I tend to prefer scoop necks to v-necks because I feel they’re more flattering and office appropriate.
Unfortunately, I wear this skirt as often as I would like despite the fact that I’m absolutely in love with it. It’s flirty and feminine and the hint of gold makes it perfect for any season. I especially love wearing this around the holidays with tights and some pumps. I snagged this beauty on sale a while back at New York & Company and I’m so glad that I did. The combination of gold and green makes for a perfect St. Patrick’s day outfit.
What looks are you planning on rocking this St. Patrick’s Day? Let me know in the comments!
P.S.: A special shout-out to JP for playing photographer for this post. Enjoy this picture (his fave) of me getting annoyed with the wind yet again. I’m sensing a theme. Do all fashion bloggers have to deal with this, or is just me?
