Welcome to Sunday Funday, y’all! The post where each week I will shamelessly talk about how amazing my week was and flood your computer screen with pictures in an Instagram Roundup! (I gave up on trying to center the images, so if anyone can help me out with that, it’d be greatly appreciated).
This week was a pretty great week. For starters, Oh Shift, Y’all went live this week! I hope you’re having as much fun here as I am! Besides that, I was busy with work (standard) and the guy and I both started classes! Which reminds me, for those of you who don’t know, I switched Grad programs! I’m super excited to see all that the Integrated Marketing and Communications program at WVU has to offer me. I can already tell that it’s a MUCH better fit than my previous program. The workload is pretty intense already and I’m a litle anxious (go figure) about juggling work and school but I think I can handle it ( *cringe* I hope). My time management skills are going to be put to the test for sure (which is why I spent five whole hours at Barnes & Noble today reading and taking notes).
Working in Barnes & Noble today really had me missing undergrad and Morgantown. Would I ever go back? No, I love my current life too much to go back… but nostalgia can be a bitch sometimes. Speaking of loving my life right now, you want to know what one of my favorite things is? I love being in love. I mean, excuse the cheesy-ness here, but there just isn’t another thing like it. Finding another human being who can both make me laugh until I cry (from either the laughing or the stomach pain from laughing, I’m not sure) and puts up with me when I’m being difficult is just truly spectacular. Nothing makes my day more than seeing this guy. Since this was the first weekend back at class for both of us, we decided to spend Friday evening and all day Saturday unwinding. Friday, we happened upon a carnival in one of our favorite Highland Falls spots and shared a few heart-to-hearts. Saturday we went for a morning run in the brisk river air (helloooooo Fall, I see you peeking around the corner) and discovered a quirky new brunch joint that I’m not obsessed with.
Justin was super happy with his “Krusty Krab” quesadilla (don’t worry, the crab was super fresh and totally NOT crusty). I had French Toast that was WAY to much food for my stomach. After our bellies were full and we were nearly comatose, we agreed that the Fiddlesticks Cafe in Cornwall was going to be a pretty regular stop for us. If you haven’t had the chance yet, be sure to check out my first Stitch Fix review! It was such an exciting experience and I can’t wait to get my next fix! For more Instagram fun, be sure to follow me! I hope y’all have a great week! Be sure to subscribe or check back frequently because this week I’m going to be rolling out some great things (like I said, working on my time management skills).
